HOW IT WORKS

Volume of water required to flush

The system is designed to require only 1,5 litres of water to perform a flush, making it an efficient and water-saving solution for sanitation.

Odourless

The system’s design incorporates features to prevent unpleasant odours. This indicates that the system is equipped with mechanisms to trap or eliminate any potential odours, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for users.

Free flow system

Instead of a traditional flushing mechanism, this system uses a free flow system where the cistern is filled by adding the required volume of water directly from the hand wash basin. This innovative approach simplifies the flushing process and reduces the need for complex plumbing.

Reservoir for hand washing

The primary purpose of the reservoir in this system is for hand washing.

WHERE IT WORKS

  • Residential households

  • Schools and educational facilities

  • Public ablution facilities

  • Healthcare clinics

  • Community centers

  • Off-grid locations

  • Drought-affected areas

  • Construction sites

Open defecation is the leading cause of diarrhoeal deaths in more than 800 children under five, every day… That’s almost 300 000 children every year without a future, all because of a toilet.

Many have endeavoured to rethink the toilet, but solutions have been complex, expensive and inaccessible to the impoverished communities that truly need safe sanitation solutions.

We’re restoring the dignity of our children, and giving them hope for the future.
